‘kedi kedi’ is a performance project by choreographer Evrim Akyay, performed by Su Güzey and Evrim Akyay. The piece started from the idea of research of sincerity in a performance piece, so that what we offer to the audience is always updated and open to share. We as artists living in a chaotic, dislocated country with dynamic shifts, are already tired of deep artistic discourses and need art to be breathing, wide space. Besides its artistic point of views, ‘kedi kedi’ focuses on the changing dynamic between two beings’ relationship, but still hoping for the concrete trust and support. You will laugh and wander and maybe cry with us, because you will definitely get to know us.
