KnowingUnknowing is an improvised performance work for music and dance created and performed by Helen Kindred and Benjamin Dwyer.
KnowingUnknowing is an investigation into layers of consciousness emerging through improvised dance and music. Inspired by texts by Samuel Beckett and Ted Hughes, the project explores the liminal spaces between the body and the space it occupies, between the conscious and the unconscious, between movement and stillness, sound and silence, sight and gesture. KnowingUnknowing asks questions about our relationship to ourselves, others and the spaces we occupy. A first experimental section of KnowingUnknowing was premiered at the Inside Out Festival (London) in 2016.
